How do I select the pebbles myself?

The pebbles should be ovoid in shape and flat. The size of the pebbles depends upon the size, shape and the design of the mosaic, but usually range from about 1 - 3 inches / 2.5 - 7.5cm at the widest point.

The colour of the pebbles should be strong and contrasting. I usually use at least three shades in my designs.
